Artist Mark Burton was born in Melbourne and grew up in Victoria's Dandenong Ranges.

He now lives and paints from his home near Cairns in tropical Far North Queensland.

Mark has been painting all of his life, first in watercolour, and later in oils. He has recently returned to watercolours in search of the 'surprises' they offer.
